For best results, "shape" the spine of your book cover by lining up the front and back edges and gently creasing the spine with the palm of your hand.

Place a piece of the Lintor binding paper on the front and back of your book text pages with the printed side of the binding paper facing outward. (This binding paper will be cut in half along the dotted line for the front and back of the Small Portrait book covers, and left whole for the Large Portrait covers.)

Run a row of staples along the left side of the packet, using a Lintor heavy duty stapler (See markings on the binding paper- keep them parallel with edge.)

Then peel away the printed side of one piece of the binding paper, and place the sticky side down on the book cover about an 1/8" away from the chipboard spine.

Peel off the printed side of the other piece of binding paper.

Line up the front and back edges of the book cover, keeping them away from the sticky paper.  Then press firmly.

With the book on a flat surface, open the front cover at a right angle and press down firmly.  Turn the book over and repeat. This step is important to insure that your book will open and close easily.

All Lintor book covers come with two strips of
reinforcement paper.  Place these reinforcement strips over the hinge in the front and back of your book, aligning them with the top and bottom edges of your paper.

Design and adhere your cover label.
